简明资料：什么是转基因食品？

转基因，就是把A生物（比如：昆虫、动物、细菌）的一部分基因转移到B生物（比如蔬菜、水果、粮食）中去，改变B生物的自然特性，达到人的要求。例如，科学家认为北极鱼体内某个基因有防冻作用，就把它抽出来，植入西红柿里，制造出耐寒西红柿，就是一种“转基因食品”。例如，把细菌中的有毒基因植入水稻中，水稻就能产生抗虫毒素杀死水稻害虫。对人有剧毒的转基因食品三大危害：致病，致傻，绝育。
