Today before youthink of saying an unkind word

今天，在你想出言不逊前，
Think of someonewho can't speak. 
想想那些不能出声的人吧。
Before youplain about the taste of your food

在抱怨食物不够美味前，
Think of  someone who has nothing to eat.
想想那些食不果腹的人吧。
  Before you plain about your huaband orwife

在抱怨婚姻伴侣不尽如人意前，
Think of someonewho's crying out to God for a panion.
想想那些还在为没有结束单身生活而向上帝祷告的人吧。 
 Today before you plain about life

今天在你抱怨生活不公之前，
Think of someonewho went too early to heaven.
想想那些早已仙逝的人吧。
Before youplain about your children

在你还想抱怨孩子太过于淘气之前，
Think of someonewho desires children but they're barren.
想想那些不能生育而渴求孩子的人吧。
  Before you argue about your dirty housesomeone didn't clean or sweep

   在为房子没人清洁打扫而牢骚满腹前，，
Think of thepeople who are living in the streets. 
想想那些露宿街头的人吧。
Before whiningabout the distance you drive

在你为旅途太长而哭哭啼啼前，
Think of someonewho walks the same distance with their feet.
想想那些走相同距离的徒步旅行者吧。
And when you aretired and plain about your job

在你工作中感觉疲惫并有厌烦情绪前，
Think of theunemployed
the disabled and those who wished they had your job.
想想那些失业的人、残疾人以及那些梦想着和你有同样工作的人吧。
  But before you think of pointing the fingeror condemning another

在谴责和挑剔他人前，
Remenber that notone of us is without sin and we all answer to one maker.
想想吧，人皆生而有罪，我们都要报答造物主的恩德。
And whendepressing thoughts seem to get you down

当消极思想让你深感沮丧时，
Put a smile onyour face and thank God you're alive and still around.
微笑吧，并感谢上帝让你的生命依然鲜活。
