President Barack Obama called Sunday for a thorough and rigorous investigation into allegations involving prostitutes and Secret Service agents in Colombia
CNN reported.
据美国有线新闻网报道，美国总统巴拉克·奥巴马周日强调，对美国特勤局员工在哥伦比亚召妓指控要进行严格全面的调查。
Some 11 Secret Service agents and officers are being investigated over preliminary findings that they allegedly brought back several prostitutes to a hotel in Cartagena.
目前，11名美国特工及军官正接受审查，初步结果显示，他们涉嫌在卡塔赫纳将妓女带回宾馆。
"We're representing the people of the United States and when we travel to another county I expect us to observe the highest standards
" said Obama. He continued: "Obviously what's been reported doesn't match up with those standards."
