US tech firm Oracle has joined the petition to buy TikTok
a popular short-video sharing app owned by Chinese firm ByteDance
the Financial Times reported on Tuesday.
据《金融时报》8月18日报道，美国科技公司甲骨文公司已加入竞购TikTok的行列。TikTok是中国公司字节跳动旗下一款很火的短视频分享应用。

and said it was seriously considering acquiring the app's business in the US

a source familiar with the situation was quoted as saying by the Financial Times.
《金融时报》援引知情人士的话说，甲骨文已与字节跳动进行了初步谈判，并表示该公司正认真考虑收购该应用在美国、加拿大、澳大利亚和新西兰的业务。
