What Lips My Lips Have Kissed
What lips my lips have kissed
and where
and why

I have fotten
and what arms have lain
Under my head till morning; but the rain
Is full of ghosts tonight
that tap sigh
Upon the glass and listen for reply；
And in my heart there stirs a quiet pain
For unremembered lads that not again
Will turn to me at midnight with a cry．
Thus in the winter stands the lonely tree

Nor knows what birds have vanished one by one

Yet knows its boughs more silent than before：
I cannot say what loves have e and gone；
I only know that summer sang in me
A little while
that in me sings no more．

为甚么，在何方？
我的长发枕过谁的手臂，
从傍晚直到天亮？
一切都难以追忆，
一切都不堪回想；
只听到夜游的鬼魂叹息
只听到追问的细雨敲窗。
心底翻动着隐痛，
爱的往事一片迷茫；
淡忘了夜半寻我的少年，
不再有把我呼唤的情郎。
就像那孤寂的枯树，
独立寒冬暗自神伤；
恋枝的鸟儿一去不返，
枝头更加落寞空荡。
说不清有多少情来，
道不明有多少情往；
只知道春光短暂，
我的爱情颂歌从此绝响。
