这次我就来到了东山湖，亲眼目睹了东山湖公园美丽的风采。
刚进东山湖的大门就看到许多花草树木围绕这一块大石头，上面写着“东山湖”这三个显眼的红色大字。风一吹，花草摇摆，就像一位位妙龄少女和俊俏少年手拉着手一起跳舞，美丽极了！
接着我又来到了著名的九曲桥。九曲桥因有九道直角而得名的，并且在每道弯曲的地方都有一根一模一样的柱子。在九曲桥上游人来回穿梭：有的在拍照留恋；有的站在桥上向远处眺望；有的则闭上双眼感受空气的清新。在九曲桥下湖水绿得像一块碧玉，静得像一面镜子。游船、小艇在湖面慢慢地滑过，几乎不留一点儿痕迹。
走过九曲桥，我们就来到小岛上了。小岛上树木环绕，花儿遍野，景色宜人。说树吧！每棵树都枝繁叶茂；说花吧！每朵都五彩缤纷，还不时散发出阵阵迷人的香味，引得小蜜蜂在这儿采蜜，蝴蝶在这儿跳舞。
