Preparing a Meal
Mom and dad are going out today. Therefore, I have to prepare some meals for me and my sis to take. I am somewhat nervous so I wake up early in the morning to start preparing our breakfasts. I get us some oatmeal porridge and milk for morning. My sis decided to help me out in preparing the lunch so we just get started an hour before lunch to do some preparation. There are some noodles, eggs, meat, vegetables, fish and rice left in the refrigerator. I think that will be enough for both of us to have a plate of fried noodle by that afternoon. I add some meat and eggs while frying the noodles to variety our diet. Honestly, even it seems terrible but it is way more delicious than its look. After lunch, we just spend our time by watching the TV. We have some rice, fried fish and veg for night. It is really a disaster when frying the fish; it is more difficult than frying the noodle. We take a long time to clean up the mess in the kitchen. Although we decided to wait for mom and dad to e home, we were exhausted in preparing meals for ourselves. As a result, we just went to bed without waiting for them.
Protection of Environment
There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. The polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.
