“奥运北京、北京奥运”，在北京，我从各个方面都感受到了奥运气息。一提到奥运，人们最先想到的一定是鸟巢，水立方。鸟巢，水立方是我梦想的地方。因为它们无论从任何角度来说都是我们中国人的骄傲，无论从每一个细节来说都凝聚了中国人的智慧。在那里，大到整个建筑，小到一个螺丝钉，一棵草，一滴水，都能感受到设计者的独具匠心，那里似乎有一种震撼人心的美。而奥运则把这种美发挥的淋漓尽致。每个人心中都有自己的奥运定位，作为一个普通的中国人来说，奥运能在中国举行确实是个盛事，奥运让世界了解中国，奥运也让中国人振奋许多。在北京我能深切的感受到“同一个世界，同一个梦想”的真正意义。
北京在我心里是唯一不可替代的，我想大多数人应该都和我一样，对北京是深深的热爱的。在北京的一切似乎都显得如此动人，如此美丽，就如同旋转八音盒，每个音符都记录著北京的悠久历史，每一个音符代表着一段历史，悠久的历史成就了一首动人的篇章。
中华民族几千年辉煌的文化，在北京得到了集中而又典型的反映。北京以其独特的地理环境，使多民族的文化得以交流与融合，造就了特征鲜明的历史文化。
如果说北京有着悠久的历史，那么首都博物馆则是这悠久历史的记录者。每一件文物都向我们展示了曾经的辉煌，都在向我们诉说著历史的真实，历史的每一幕都如此清晰的出现在我们眼前。展览以北京文化为视角，表现了北京从原始聚落，经过封建王朝，走向民主共和的历程。北京用历史演奏出的音乐之曲，全世界都听得到！
