        During the War of Resistance, Chiang Kai-shek hides himself on Mount Omei. But as soon as the victory is won, this traitor supported by U.S. imperialism unleashes an all-out civil war. In the Kuomingtang areas, the people rise to oppose hunger, persecution and civil war.
        The iron gates of prisons can't stem the angry tide of resistance; water from police firehoses can't put out the flames of struggle.
