the most significant thing that happened to me today is that I was called to my
Chinese teacher’s office. It should be a disaster, as he is always the strictest
teacher.
When I was
standing stiffly in his office, he informed me directly, “I have to fail your
position.” I was stunned. After revision, I had assumed my second draft to
pass, if not to be praised. So I said almost offhandedly, “I don’t understand. I
think what I am saying makes sense. ” He suddenly smiled a slight smile at me
and nodded approvingly, “You’ve got the point. But there are too many
embellishments in your writing. The first draft is much better.” “Li Ting asked
me to polish it as much as I can.” I heard my own voice nervously muttering. Then
the man in front of me looked me straight in the eye, and with forcefulness
that burned right into my soul, he told me something that left me a different
person. He told me, “Be who you are and say what you think, because those who
matter don’t mind, and those who mind, don’t matter.”
I
really gained a lot from his words and was greatly inspired by his personality.

星期天的早晨，我起了个早床，漫步荔城街头，去领略都市早晨的怡人景色。
走在街上，我眺望东方，看到一缕缕霞光透过薄薄的云层，洒向大地，洒在人们的脸上，给每一个人的头发镀上一层金辉，好像朝霞要赐给每一个人一顶桂冠。同时，我感受到早晨的清爽，耳边没有喧嚣的吵闹声，没有汽车喇叭的嘀哒声，只有晨风在我耳边低唱，替我吹理著有点散乱的头发。
晨跑的人们在尽情享受着大自然恩赐的天然美景，他们悠闲地跑着。看到这样的场景，我也由衷的向往，情不自禁地加入了晨跑的队伍。跑着跑着，眼前出现一道“亮丽景观”，在路边的一个广场，有几十个穿着红色衣服的老阿姨，手持花扇，面带笑容，摆手扭腰，在晨风中翩翩起舞，看上去她们很开心。驻足观看的人群，有的也为之动“武”，看来她们也想身入其“境”。
