《Street Fighting Man》是英国乐队the Rolling Stones的代表作之一，曾多次被西方垄断资产阶级控制的传媒封杀，比如，1968年美国民主党芝加哥党代表大会前夕，芝加哥当局就禁止电台播放《Street Fighting Man》，因为当局害怕这首歌会激励青少年，而当年的这场大会仍然发生了暴动。

这支英国乐队持无政府主义立场，于1977年出版了他们唯一的正式专辑《Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols》，收录了12首歌，《God Save the Queen》是其中之一，与英国国歌同名。1977年伊丽莎白女王登基25周年庆典当天，the Sex Pistols在泰晤士河的游轮上狂嚎自己版本的《God Save the Queen》：“上帝保佑女王，她不是人......你们没有未来。”他们随即被捕。讽刺的是，the Sex Pistols竟然成了BBC排行榜的冠军，BBC不得不做手脚把他们从排行榜首位的位置上拉下来。
